| What type of equipment you use? |
|
One of the most important parts of any DJ system is the speakers. We use powered speakers made by Electro-Voice. Each speaker has its own built in amplifier to get the best sound quality from each speaker. We use Mixers, DJ controllers, lighting and cables made by companies that specialize in high quality DJ equipment. We also make sure that our setup is clean, neat and without wires hanging from the DJ table and floor. Click here to view the 15 inch speakers we use. | Do you play clean or explicit music? |
|
The style of music is absolutely your choice. You will have the option to choose if you want to have clean, explicit, a mixture of both or even if you would like to have clean during a certain time and explicit during another set time. We will cater to your needs . |
| Do you require a deposit? |
|
Yes. We only require a $100 deposit to secure the date for your event. We accept cash, money orders and all major credit cards. |
| Will I meet my DJ face to face before the event? |
|
Our policy is that when you finalize your event, you finalize your event with YOUR DJ. You can have the peace of mind that you will know exactly who will be showing up to your event. Also, that DJ has had a chance to sit down with you personally, gather all your thoughts, wants and expectations. This consultation makes for a perfect combination so you can have a great time!

| Do you have back-up equipment? |
|
Yes. At King DJ's we always come with 2 computers, 2 hard drives, a back-up hard drive with all of our music and all of your special requests. We also have back-up mixers, speakers and cables on site. |
| What type of music do you play, can I choose songs? |
|
The great thing about our company, is that we can cater to your musical taste and allow you to completely customize your playlist for your event. Even if there are songs we do not have in our 50,000 song library, we will get them for you.

| Can I book a DJ on short notice? |
|
Yes, (Some restrictions apply) we understand that things happen. Things like, your DJ backing out on you at the last minute, your event planner forgot to book a DJ, the live band's bus broke down or you simply just decided to add a DJ to your event. Please keep in mind that booking a DJ with less than one weeks notice will most likely limit some options that are usually available for your event. If we have availability, we will do our best to assist you with obtaining a professional DJ. If you are in need to book us with less than 7 days notice, DO NOT use our online booking system.
